Since the beginning of the year 2012 the aim of the university magazine “scientia halensis” is to complete the collection of innovations successively. The recent magazine article presents different inventions made in the city on the river Saale. Thus, Heppe Medical Chitosan is also presented by the university magazine. After a short introduction of chitosan the article highlights Katja Richter’s research on:

„Chitosan als potenzielles Transportvehikel zur Überwindung der Bluthirnschranke“
"Chitosan as a potential drug delivery vehicle to overcome the blood brain barrier."

A respective patent has already been filed.

Erfindungen „made in Halle“ II (epub 09.05.2012/author: Sarah Huke) can be found on the official scientia halensis magazine website.

Since April 11, 2012 the magazine (version 2/2012) is available at various locations.

Until May 31, 2012 everyone is asked to complete the innovation list.
