Depending on the raw material, various heavy metals may be present in chitin, chitosan and chitosan derivative samples. We carry out the analysis for heavy metals in chitosans and chitosan derivatives with an external partner. You can have your product tested for the following heavy metals:

• Lead (Ph. Eur., 2.2.58)
• Mercury (Ph. Eur., 2.2.58)
• Cadmium (Ph. Eur., 2.2.58)
• Arsenic (Ph. Eur., 2.2.58)
