The international Chitin and Chitosan conference started on September 6^th 2009.

With a  cocktail reception the 8th EUCHIS conference started in the Divan Hotel in Antalya on September 8. More than 230 participants from 37 nations met to report and discuss lates findings in chitin and chitosan research. More than 170 projects were introduced as presentation or poster.

Even in the beginning of summer chitin and chitosan research is going on. 130 articles were published in journals. 50 submitted papers edited in China, 10 in the US and 9 in South Corea. You want to learn more about the foci of interest? Just keep on reading.
